20 Jul Fanduel and DraftKings Optimal Lineup Results from Tuesday 7/19/16
Here at DailyRotoHelp.com, we pride ourselves on our unmatched approach to research and analysis for both GPP and cash DFS formats to create our Optimal Lineups. Because of this, we not only play these lineups ourselves, but we post our results every day, good or bad. Do the other guys do that? Negative.
We keep it simple: we’re either eating that delicious meat candy, BACON (bottom line: we’ve cashed) or…
we’re slurping down the dreaded canned ham…
Obviously, this is a problem and it means we didn’t cash.
Either way, good or bad, we’ll let you know where it went right or wrong.
Let’s get to it:
A LOT of green on the board last night! It’s night’s like these that make it all worthwhile. We cashed in at least 1 50/50 lineup from each site and nailed a Fanduel GPP. Even with one player PPD’d for the Cardinals in each DraftKings lineup, we still rocked it!
Optimal Lineup Results 7/19/16
Main Slate – Cash A
Knowing that Arietta’s ownership would be through the roof, we decided to fade him and go the contrarian route with Syndergaard. It worked flawlessly! Syndergaard was only 1% owned so we were literally the only person that took advantage of his 41 FP. He didn’t generate the coveted 12 FP win, but he did strike out 8 over 5.2 innings and didn’t give up any earned runs. Trevor Story carried the load for the offense generating 27.7 FP on a single, 2 walks and a solo shot. Christian Yelich hit a homer, a single, a run scored and 2 RBI. Gillaspie and Abreu slowed this, otherwise awesome, lineup with 3 combined FP.
Total: 136.6 BACON!!!
Main Slate – Cash B
Weather slowed this lineup down as an unexpected storm rolled through St. Louis and postponing the game. Unfortunately, we trotted out Martinez at pitcher and Grichuk in one of our outfield spots…goose eggs for both.
Votto, Odor, and Yelich carried the offensive load with a combined 58.4 FP
Total: 79.4 Canned ham
Main Slate – GPP
We nailed this GPP with an odd showing from Lopez. He lasted only 4.2 innings and gave up 6 earned over that span. However, he salvaged a solid day by striking out 9 hitters, nearly 2 K’s per inning.
Longoria, Story, Yelich and Springer were all fantastic as they carried the lineup to 100.6 FP and our first GPP cash of the night
Total: 139 BACON!!!!
Main Slate 50/50 A
Total: 96.90 Canned ham
Main 50/50 B
Oh, what could’ve been. Even with Molina out with the weather PPD and Gillaspie registering a big fat 0, this lineup still cruised to an incredible 125.00 FP and a top-20 finish. Salazar was on cruise control for the Indians as he earned the win against the Royals, striking out 7 over 6.2 innings.
Ian Desmond and Story carried the offense. Desmond crushed a homer, had 3 hits, scored a run, RBI, stole a base and walked for 27 FP.
