Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire

Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire

It’s Waiver Wire Wednesday (on Tuesday)! It’s that special time of the week that can make – or break – your seasons. Nothing is more satisfying than landing that up-and-comer, that injury replacement or that breakout stud from the previous week. On the other hand, nothing is more infuriating than the team immediately ahead of you on the waiver wire list snagging that player you had your eyes on. Here at DailyRotoHelp.com, we’ll give you the tools you need to own the waiver wire and your daily/season-long leagues.

Slow week on the waiver wire this week. See below for who we’re targeting for week 10 and beyond!

Quarterback

Carson Wentz – After an incredible start to his rookie season, Wentz’s production has stalled over the last four weeks. Through the first four games, Wentz had thrown for seven touchdowns and one interception. Since then, The Eagles 1st round draft pick has thrown for two touchdowns and four interceptions. However, he threw for 364 yards against a solid Giants defense and has a plus-plus matchup on deck at home against the Falcons. Wentz is a GPP flyer and season-long streaming option at quarterback this week.

Joe Flacco – The Ravens are at home this weekend against the Cleveland Browns. Anyone is a start against the Cleveland Browns.

Bryce Petty – Pay attention to Ryan Fitzpatrick’s status this week as he’s dealing with a knee injury. If he can’t go, Bryce Petty will get his first NFL start at home against the Rams.

Running Back

Tim Hightower – Even a monster performance from Mark Ingram didn’t stop Hightower from playing, performing and producing a solid fantasy output Sunday against the 49ers. He’s carried the rock 49 times over the last two weeks and has shown that he can still be in the RB2 discussion in a timeshare with Ingram. He’s still available and needs to be owned in any format.

Kapri Bibbs – If you own Devontae Booker, you must roster Bibbs this waiver wire round. Bibbs flashed his potential by taking his one catch 69 yards to the house Sunday night against the Raiders. Booker’s shoulder is acting up, and Bibbs is on deck to lead duties. Take advantage.

Wide Receiver

Robert Woods – Woods exploded last night against the NFL’s top ranked pass D with ten catches for 160 yards against the Seahawks. The Bills are on a bye next week, but if you’re hurting at the wide receiver position, he’s worth an add and stash for a week as he’s got one of the softest remaining schedules with matchups against the Raiders, Steelers, Browns and Dolphins through the fantasy playoffs.

Rishard Matthews – Matthews has become Marcus Mariotta’s shiny new weapon as the two have connected for five touchdowns over the last five games. Other the Delanie Walker, the Titans have no legitimate threat on the outside. Matthews, however, is showing he can soak up targets in the red zone and is fantasy relevant in all formats.

J.J. Nelson – Nelson has surpassed Michael Floyd on the Cardinals wide receiver depth chart and has a juicy matchup this weekend against the 49ers. Nelson is a safe add in deeper leagues and is an interesting punt play this Sunday in DFS.

Tight End

Austin Hooper – We identified Hooper as a potential sleeper pick last week and he rewarded us with a 3-46-1 line that was very close to being a 4-65-2 line. As long as Tamme is down, Hooper will be an easy start for a Falcons organization that drafted him to be pass-catching tight end.

Cameron Brate – We’ve been on Brate and we’re staying on Brate. He’s scored in each of the last two games and sees the second most targets on the Buccaneers offense behind Mike Evans. The Bucs take on the surprisingly tough Bears defense this week, so exercise caution in DFS. He’s a solid add, and available in nearly 70% of leagues, in season-long formats.
