Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire

Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire

It’s Waiver Wire Wednesday (on Tuesday)! It’s that special time of the week that can make – or break – your seasons. Nothing is more satisfying than landing that up-and-comer, that injury replacement or that breakout stud from the previous week. On the other hand, nothing is more infuriating than the team immediately ahead of you on the waiver wire list snagging that player you had your eyes on. Here at DailyRotoHelp.com, we’ll give you the tools you need to own the waiver wire and your daily/season-long leagues.

Slow week on the waiver wire this week. See below for who we’re targeting for week 12 and beyond!

Quarterback

Carson Wentz – Wentz hasn’t exactly carried the impressive start to his rookie campaign past week 3 but, considering the 2nd overall pick in the 2016 draft has played five of the last seven games on the road, against teams like the Seahawks, Vikings, Giants and Redskins, I like where he’s at. The Eagles play on Monday Night Football this week against the Steelers, a team that ranks near the bottom of the league against the pass, in what could turn in to a shootout. Wentz is certainly worth a look this week.

Matt Barkley – Yuck, but you read that right. Cutler is likely down for the rest of the season with a torn labrum. Cutler is tough, so there’s a possibility that he could return beforehand, but it looks like it’s a season-ender. Alshon Jeffrey is suspended for 3 more weeks from a failed PED test and tight end Zach Miller is likely done for the year with a broken foot, but the Bears have a strong run game and decent, young receivers in Eddie Royal and Cameron Meredith.

Josh McCown – The Cody Kessler experiment has been nothing but inconsistent and culminated in a concussion for the young QB Sunday against the Steelers, likely ending his season. That puts McCown squarely back into the picture as the likely starter this Sunday against the Giants. Keep an eye on RGIII as well as he is getting healthy enough to potentially see some action.

Running Back

Chris Ivory – TJ Yeldon went down with an ankle injury and Ivory responded like a beast. He carried the ball 17 times for 39 yards against the Lions, adding another 75 yards on 6 catches. If Yeldon is forced to miss extended time, Ivory will see workhorse duties. Take advantage.

Wendell Smallwood – With injuries to Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles, Smallwood is front and center for lead back duties this weekend against the Packers, a team that was just dismantled by another big, young back, Robert Kelly.

Robert Kelly – Speaking of Big Rob, he cracks our waiver wire list! If he’s available, and he is in nearly 30% of leagues, scoop him up. Coming off a 24-137-3 games against the Packers, he will be this week’s hottest pickup.

Wide Receiver

Tyreek Hill – Hill isn’t seeing a ton of targets, but he’s turning them into catches at an alarming 74%. Andy Reid is game planning specifically for Hill and his unique blend of size and speed. The Chiefs have a tough matchup against the Broncos in Denver this weekend, but the Chiefs schedule is extremely WR-favorable on the back end.

Eddie Royal – With Alshon Jeffrey and Zach Miller out for extended time, it’s time for Royal to step up. Other than youngster Cameron Meredith, Royal will be looked to early and often as one of the only healthy pass catchers available. Tread cautiously as Cutler is down and Matt Barkley will likely be under center.

Adam Thielen – His production and usage are both trending up. He’s coming off of back to back games with scores. The Lions struggle against the pass and Stefon Diggs is seeing increased coverages, freeing up Thielen for another big day. The Vikings remaining schedule is incredibly friendly to WRs. Take advantage.

Tight End

Gary Barnidge – Yeah, you read that right. I’m adding Barnidge back to the list. This is solely due to the return of Josh McCown as the QB and TE have developed a nice rapport over the last couple of seasons.

Cameron Brate – I feel like a broken record with this guy but, if Brate is still available in your league, roster him right now. He’s a top 10 tight end with a juicy matchup against the Seahawks. Wait, what?! Exactly! No one will be looking at Brate this weekend due to the matchup. However, the Seahawks are vulnerable against the TE position and they’ve been abused the last couple of weeks by opposing tight ends. Roster him now!

Jared Cook – Reluctantly, he’s back on our waiver wire list. He looked awesome in his return from injury last night with a 6-105-1 line against the Redskins. However, he dropped a walk-in TD and fumbled late, all typical Jared Cooks plays. As long as the Packers struggle running the ball and Cooks stays healthy, he should be a factor week in and week out.
