Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire

Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire

It’s Waiver Wire Wednesday (on Tuesday)! It’s that special time of the week that can make – or break – your seasons. Nothing is more satisfying than landing that up-and-comer, that injury replacement or that breakout stud from the previous week. On the other hand, nothing is more infuriating than the team immediately ahead of you on the waiver wire list snagging that player you had your eyes on. Here at DailyRotoHelp.com, we’ll give you the tools you need to own the waiver wire and your daily/season-long leagues.

Slow week on the waiver wire this week. See below for who we’re targeting for week 11 and beyond!

Quarterback

Jay Cutler – Cutler is back under center for the Bears. For the Bears, this is a problem. For fantasy owners, this could be great! If you’re struggling at the QB position or find yourself streaming QBs, Cutler is a big-armed QB on a team that will likely be playing from behind nearly every week. This creates pass-heavy scenarios ripe for fantasy production. However, stud WR Alshon Jeffery has been suspended for 4 games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, limiting some Cutler upside.

Joe Flacco – Flacco is available in nearly 70% of leagues. Like Cutler, he’s a big-armed QB on a team that will likely be playing from behind. Unlike Cutler, he just got his #1 WR Steve Smith Sr. back from an injury. It’s no coincidence that the week Smith returns Flacco throws for his season high in the touchdown category. Flacco has a tasty matchup against the Cowboys soft secondary in what will likely be a shootout. Take advantage.

Running Back

Kenneth Dixon – We’ve been calling for Dixon all season and it appears that his time has come. He’s coming off his best game as a pro, registering a 6-38 rushing line and a 5-42 day in the passing game. The Ravens travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys in what will likely be a shootout. Dixon and the Ravens passing game is in play this weekend.

C.J. Prosise – With Thomas Rawls still sideline and Christin Michael being cut from the Seahawks, Prosise stepped in and showed exactly why the Seahawks are giddy about their young, big speedster. In his first extended showing, Prosise carried the ball 17 times for 66 yards and caught seven passes for an additional 87 yards. If Rawls and Michael miss any more time, Prosise is squarely in the RB1 discussion in PPR formats.

Wide Receiver

Rishard Matthews – We’ve identified Matthew for the last 4 weeks and he has rewarded us each week.  For whatever reason, his ownership is still in the bottom 30% of WRs!  The Titans have apparently turned a corner and Rishard Matthews is definitely a reason why. He’s scored six touchdowns over the last six games and has become a legit 2nd option to Delanie Walker in the passing game. Take advantage!

Eli Rogers – Rogers has been dealing with injuries off and all this season but appears, for the first time all season, to be healthy and on the same page with Roethlisberger. Rogers has 10 catches over the last two games for 145 yards and a touchdown and has a juicy matchup against the Browns this Sunday.

Steve Smith Sr. – Smith is battling back from an ankle injury and appears to be healthy and on the same page as Flacco. He turned in a 5-60-1 line against the Browns on Sunday and has a potential shootout on deck with the Cowboys. Smith always shines when the bright lights are on him. Expect a monster day from the veteran.

Tight End

C.J. Fiedorowicz – Fiedorowicz has been a bright spot on an otherwise putrid offense. He ranks in the top 20 TEs and has TE1 upside. With DeAndre Hopkins apparently forgetting how to football and Fuller dealing with hamstring issues, Fiedorowicz should see a monster workload Sunday against the Raiders.

Ladarius Green – Green was activated Sunday for the first time in 2016 and turned in a respectable 3-30 day in limited action. His usage and value will only increase as the Steelers are really an over-the-middle threat to have one of the most amazing offenses in the NFL, on paper at least. His ownership is less than 10% and is a safe add in a high scoring, pass-heavy offense.
