Fantasy Football Week 2 By the Numbers

Fantasy Football Week 2 By the Numbers

Fantasy Football is easy, play the best guys and matchups. However, numbers can help us out to see trends in players or teams. Here is this weeks 4 stats that can help you in your quest at a championship

First Down

Drew Brees – A great first week of 400+ yards and 4 TDs. Combine that with last time Saints played the Giants Brees threw for 500+ yards and 7 TDs. Look for a big week from Brees and the passing attack

Second Down

Jordan Matthews – The Bears gave up double digit fantasy points to 2 wide receivers last week which isn’t too far off, last year they were ranked 30th in points to opposing number 1 receivers

Third Down

Danny Woodhead – Gordon had the big game but Woodhead set a career high for rushing attempts and played more snaps than Gordon. The loss of Allen means looks for Woodhead to be targeted more in the passing game but the Chargers also have faith in him as a runner as well

Fourth Down

Lamar Miller – Chargers ranked 31st in rushing yards per game in 2015, week 1 they are 3rd. Kansas City ranked 25th in rushing yards defense last year, last week they gave up all those rushing yards to the Chargers. Lamar Miller is number 2 in rushing yards this season
