Best MLB DFS hitters for April 6, 2018

Adam Jones vs CC Sabathia

In yesterday’s article I mentioned the whole Miggy vs Shields match-up as it was a clear indicator that BvP was real and the same goes for this match-up tonight. With both of these players being in the AL East they have seen a ton of each other. Jones is 24 for 87 with 14 singles, 4 doubles, a triple, and 5 HRs. If you’re not putting CC out there on the mound, you need exposure to Jones tonight. Plus, he’s coming off a HR in last night’s game against Tanaka.

Manny Machado vs CC Sabathia

Just like his teammate, Machado has dominated CC in the past. Machado is 18 for 57 (.316 BA) including 9 singles, 6 doubles, and 3 HRs. If you wanted to go a little contrarian in tonight’s slate, look at a small O’s STACK.

Brett Gardner vs Kevin Gausman

Gardy has had mild success with facing Gausman with 11 hits in 34 ABs which includes 8 singles, 2 doubles, 1 HR. Gardner is always a threat to swipe a bag but since last year, he’s had the HR pop as well.

Aaron Judge vs Kevin Gausman

It’s looking to be a Yankees/O’s game stack of some sorts. It’s been well documented that Aaron Judge absolutely owns the Orioles. Last year I believe he hit 11 HRs and over .400 BA against them. Last night he homered as well. He hasn’t seen a ton of Gausman but he has 6 hits in 12 ABs including a double and 3 HRs. Load him up as he should be on fire again tonight.

Other Batters To Consider:  Whit Merrifield, Matt Olson
